Maricopa County, Arizona, has opened the Maricopa County Kids Club, an on-site childcare center for county employees. The 12,000-square-foot facility is located in downtown Phoenix and is operated by KinderCare. It offers childcare services for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years at 50% off market rates for County staff.

Urban planner Paola Jaramillo shared that the Board of Supervisors approved the discounted rates before she and her husband expected their child. Her daughter, who is about to turn one, is enrolled in the center, known as the Maricopa County Kinder Club (McKid). The facility also features an outdoor playground visible from nearby office windows.
