This morning, the Phoenix Fire Department held a high-rise fire training drill at the old St. Luke’s Hospital in Phoenix. The exercise was a joint effort with regional partners including the Tempe Fire Department, Goodyear Fire Department, Glendale Fire Department, Buckeye Fire Department, and Daisy Mountain Fire Department. The drill simulated an emergency response in a high-rise building and demonstrated coordinated efforts among the departments involved, highlighting the strength of the mutual aid response system.
