Luke Thompson Named East Mesa Constable
Maricopa County officials have named Luke Thompson as the new Constable for the East Mesa Justice Precinct in Arizona. The precinct covers areas east of Mesa and northeast of Gilbert, including Falcon Field, and is part of District 2.
Thompson will serve until December 31, 2026. His responsibilities include serving legal documents, executing warrants, and supporting the operations of justice courts. Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Thomas Galvin credited Thompson's integrity, temperament, community involvement, and Spanish proficiency for making him a strong fit for the role.
The decision was announced during the July 23 board meeting, where additional details were provided.
