SBA Opens Low-Interest Disaster Loans in Arizona

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has opened low-interest federal disaster loans for businesses, nonprofits, homeowners, and renters affected by the remnants of Hurricane Priscilla and Tropical Storm Raymond in Arizona. Eligible counties include Gila, La Paz, Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Yavapai, and Yuma. The available loans cover physical damage and economic injury.

Assistance is available online at sba.gov/disaster. Loan applications for physical damage must be submitted by January 13, 2026, and those related to economic injury by August 14, 2026.

In-person guidance on the loan application process will be provided at the Disaster Loan Outreach Center located on the second floor, Suite 201 of the Tempe Public Library. The center opens on November 18 at 1 PM and operates from 9 AM to 6 PM on Monday through Wednesday, and from 9 AM to 5 PM on Thursday and Friday. The center will be closed on November 27 and 28.
