County Helps Vulnerable Senior Find Safe Home
A 65-year-old woman was found living in unsafe conditions near Buckeye, Arizona, and Maricopa County's Hand in Hand team provided emergency support and long-term housing solutions, according to county reports.
Today, she is in a safe, stable home. The county says the outcome illustrates how compassionate outreach and accessible support services can help vulnerable individuals regain safety, dignity and hope.

Shooting on SR 88 near Apache Junction under investigation
