Maricopa County Alerts on Measles Exposure
Maricopa County Public Health reports that measles, which can spread easily and lead to serious illness, is a concern for unvaccinated individuals. Health officials urge the public to ensure that family members are up to date on the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine and to be aware of measles symptoms.
Local health authorities have confirmed additional measles cases in the area. As a result, there are three identified public locations where individuals may have been exposed to measles. People who visited these locations during the specified dates and times should monitor themselves for any symptoms associated with measles.
Maricopa County Public Health will continue to update the community as more information becomes available.
