Maricopa County Launches 100-Mile Hiking Challenge
Maricopa County in Arizona is hosting a hiking challenge that begins today. Participants have the opportunity to log 100 miles in county parks by February 8. Those who reach the goal will receive a t-shirt and be entered into a drawing for an annual parks pass and a voucher redeemable at a nature center retail outlet.
The challenge is designed for those looking to spend more time outdoors and get more exercise. For more details and information on participating, visit the Maricopa County Parks website. Trails mentioned for the challenge include the Wind Cave Trail and Pass Mountain Trail.
