East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) early childhood education students recently hosted their fourth annual toy drive to benefit Maricopa County Head Start families. The drive began in October, with donations collected to brighten the holiday season for children in the Head Start program. Families were invited to choose gifts from the donated items for use during the holidays or at other significant times throughout the year. This year's toy drive involved approximately 61 early childhood education students and provided gifts to 38 Head Start families across the east Valley.
