Maricopa County officials have shared details about the Hassayampa River Preserve in Maricopa, Arizona. The preserve is known for its lush vegetation and flowing water, which support a variety of wildlife. Approximately 300 different bird species have been recorded in the area.

Visitors planning a trip to the preserve should note the operating hours. From May 1 to October 31, the preserve is open from 7 am to 4 pm on Wednesdays through Sundays, with trails closing at 3:30 pm. From November 1 to April 30, the preserve is open from 8 am to 5 pm on Wednesdays through Sundays, and the trails close at 4:30 pm.
