Maricopa County Launches Second Chance Smart Justice Program
Maricopa County in Arizona is observing April as Second Chance Month. The county celebrates the idea of creating fresh starts and meaningful second chances for people returning from incarceration. As part of this effort, the county has introduced the Smart Justice Program. This program is designed to support individuals involved with the justice system by helping them find employment and pursue career opportunities.
