Maricopa County Invests $1M to Bridge Life Gap

Maricopa County, Arizona, has partnered with the Equality Health Foundation and the ASU College of Health Solutions to conduct a life expectancy study. The study revealed a 14-year gap in life expectancy between South Phoenix and North Scottsdale. The board has invested $1 million in Community Solutions Funding to establish a community well-being hub aimed at addressing factors contributing to this disparity.
