Maricopa County Urges Pool Safety for Children
Maricopa County Public Health has issued a reminder about water safety as the weather warms up. Local officials advise that children should never be left unattended in or around water. They also recommend assigning a "water watcher" when children are near pool areas.
In addition, the county advises keeping life-saving devices, such as flotation devices, near the pool and learning basic first aid and CPR. More information is available on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.
