Zone 8 Buckeye Bulk Trash Pickup Scheduled
Residents of Zone 8 in Buckeye, AZ, are reminded to prepare for bulk trash pickup. Items can be placed curbside beginning March 15, with collection crews starting March 17 and continuing throughout the week.
Only items that meet guidelines will be collected. Items that will not be accepted include household hazardous waste; loose grass, leaves, weeds, and twigs; bricks, concrete, and asphalt; dirt and rocks; roofing or similar materials; construction material that weighs over 25 lbs, is longer than 3 feet, or originates from contractors; metal, rebar, and fence posts; tires, rims, and auto parts; glass such as windows, shower doors, patio doors, and mirrors; and appliances containing refrigerants.
Residents are advised to place their bulk trash out by the Sunday night before the collection week begins and may start piles as early as the weekend preceding the pickup. The bulk trash piles should measure approximately 6 feet wide, 6 feet long, and 6 feet high. Items should be placed at the front edge of the property, and for alley homes with no street front, the pile should be placed at the end of the alley in the HOA green space next to the street.
For more detailed information, residents are encouraged to visit the official Buckeye website at buckeyeaz.gov/residents/trash-and-recycling/bulk-trash.
