Buckeye Equestrian & Events Center in Buckeye, AZ, announced the results of yesterday’s jackpot event on their Facebook page. The center thanked everyone who attended and congratulated all the winners.

The center also provided details for two upcoming roping events with big prizes:

March 22nd Event:

• Two 2025 Cimmaron Lonestar 22' Gooseneck Stock Combo Trailers will be awarded.

• The competition will feature a 12.5 Handicap with a 9.5 Incentive.

• There will be 4 Steer Progressive rounds after one pick, one Draw for $200, or a Draw All option.

• Participants can enter up to 5 times with a maximum of 10 runs.

• The event offers 2/3 Cash and Prize Payback.

• Trailers will be awarded to the High Point Roper in the 5 & Below and the High Point Roper in the 5.5 & Above categories.

April 12 Event:

• A 2023 Canam Maverick 1000R Side X Side will be awarded.

• Warm Up Roping will take place with a 9.5 Handicap.

– Participants have a Pick One Draw One option for $100.

– They must run one second per number.

– Entries can be made 2 times or Drawing All two steers capped at 5.5 on both ends.

– The top four finishers will receive buckles.

• Side X Side Roping will also have a 9.5 Handicap.

– Participants have a Pick One Draw Two option for $180.

– They must run one second per number.

– Entries can be made up to 5 times or Drawing 3 steers capped at 5.5 on both ends.

– Prizes include:

° 1st Place – 2023 Canam Maverick 1000R Side X Side

° First header and healer – Saddles

° 2nd to 10th Place – Buckles

In addition, the event results for the 7.5 category on March 12th were posted with the following outcomes:

• Shortgo – 1st place: Damien Guerrero and Christine Talton earned $200 in 10.55 seconds.

• Average – 1st place: Galen Huck and Pedro Flores earned $850 in 21.51 seconds on Draw 2.

• Average – 2nd place: Galen Huck and Todd Payne earned $510 in 23.33 seconds on Draw 2.

• Average – 3rd place: Damien Guerrero and Linda Kay Nelson earned $340 in 24.68 seconds on Draw 2.
