Maricopa Seeks Senior Engineer for Capital Projects

The City of Maricopa, Arizona is seeking to hire a Senior Engineer for Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). This position involves managing the engineering, design, and construction of complex projects, which may include roadways, bridges, drainage structures, public buildings, and parks. The Senior Engineer will handle contract administration and coordinate procurement processes.
Candidates are expected to work independently on assigned projects and participate in meetings to identify and initiate new projects. The individual will assist various City Departments with CIP projects tailored to their needs and will guide projects through all phases, from inception and design to construction and warranty.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, have over six years of civil engineering experience, and demonstrate a commitment to public service. Experience in a government or municipal environment is preferred.
