Tempe Bond Measures: Early Voting Results Released

The City of Tempe has released preliminary counts for early ballots regarding three bond measures. The results are as follows:

- **Question 1**: "Enhance Community Safety Through Public Safety and Roadway Improvements" proposed a funding of $301 million. Out of the ballots counted, 27,663 voters (77.99%) voted in favor, while 7,808 voters (22.01%) opposed it.

- **Question 2**: "Improve Quality of Life in Tempe Neighborhoods" sought $248.5 million in funding. The early count shows 26,122 votes (73.78%) in support and 9,284 votes (26.22%) against.

- **Question 3**: "Increase Supply of Affordable Housing" requested $32 million. For this measure, 24,227 voters (68.42%) approved, while 11,182 voters (31.58%) were against it.

As of now, 38,139 ballots have been counted out of 89,006 registered voters, resulting in a voter turnout of 42.85%. The Maricopa County Recorder and Elections Department has provided these early results. For further details, residents are encouraged to visit tempe.gov.
