Tempe Bond Measures Early Voting Results Released

The Maricopa County Recorder and Elections Department has released the preliminary counts for early ballots in Tempe’s bond measures.
Question 1, which seeks to enhance community safety through public safety and roadway improvements at a cost of $301 million, has received 27,663 votes in favor (77.99%) and 7,808 votes against (22.01%).
Question 2 aims to improve the quality of life in Tempe neighborhoods with a proposed $248.5 million funding. It has garnered 26,122 votes for (73.78%) and 9,284 votes against (26.22%).
Question 3 focuses on increasing the supply of affordable housing with a budget of $32 million, receiving 24,227 votes in favor (68.42%) and 11,182 votes against (31.58%).
As of now, voter turnout stands at 38,139 ballots counted from a total of 89,006 registered voters in Tempe, representing 42.85% participation.
