**Veterans Day Hike Scheduled at Skyline Regional Park**

Buckeye, AZ – A special hike honoring military veterans will take place on November 11, 2024, at Skyline Regional Park. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and is free to attend.

Participants will gather at the base of Mountain Wash Trail for a 4-mile roundtrip hike to Valley Vista Summit, where an American flag will be posted in tribute to U.S. Armed Forces veterans. Veterans are encouraged to join in carrying the flag to the summit.

The hike is rated as high difficulty, so attendees are advised to bring sufficient water, wear closed-toe shoes, and use sun protection. Advanced registration is recommended due to limited participation items.

The first 32 individuals who arrive will receive a free hiking stick, limited to one per person. Additionally, annual lapel pins and mini flags will be available.
