Murder Mystery Unfolds at Haunted House Opening

Laura Childs, a New York Times bestselling author known for her book "Lavender Blue Murder," has released a new installment in her Tea Shop Mystery series titled "Hibiscus." The book features recipes and tea tips and is available at the Buckeye Public Library.

The story is set one week before Halloween, where Theodosia Browning, the owner of the Indigo Tea Shop, and her tea sommelier, Drayton, are attending the grand opening of a haunted house themed around literary and historical figures. The event includes characters dressed as Edgar Allan Poe, Lady Macbeth, and the Headless Horseman. During the opening, a murder takes place, and Theodosia finds herself tasked with solving the crime.
