Staff Report / Bucklocal.org

The Buckeye Equestrian & Events Center is hosting a series of roping events throughout September. The events will take place on September 7, 14, 21, and 28, with books opening at 6 PM and roping starting at 7 PM.

There are two types of handicaps available:

1. **#12.5 Handicap** involves roping 4 steers, with the option to pick 1 and draw 1 or draw 2. The entry fee is $150, and participants can enter up to three times, with an 80% payback.

2. **#9.5 Handicap** includes roping 3 steers, with the option to pick 1 and draw 1 or draw 2. The entry fee for this event is $120, also allowing entries up to three times, with no number caps.

All entries must be in cash, and all ropings will be progressive after one. Management reserves the right to adjust or change numbers and ropings as necessary.

For more detailed information, participants can email Don at don@buckeyearena.com or call him at 623-340-8208. The venue is located at 10300 South Miller Road, Buckeye, AZ 85326.

Additionally, there will be a free event on Saturday nights that includes a mechanical bull contest. The contest starts at 8 PM at The Tack Room, and participants have a chance to win free PBR tickets to the Ridge Rider Days event, which features the Arizona Ridge Riders.
